How long does Dexpan take to work?
Small cracks can begin to appear as early as 12 hours, but waiting for 24, 36 or 48 hours will result in more extensive and wider cracks. Expansion and cracking is slower. Depending upon conditions and factors listed above, it may take 36 hours and up to 4 days for optimal expansion and cracking.

How do you use Dexpan?
Mix one bag of Dexpan at a time Add water first, then Dexpan Mix well, preferably with an electric hand drill with a mixing paddle to achieve a lump free slurry. Use only open pails or containers for mixing Rinse the bucket between batches. Clear any water and excessive dust from holes.
